Their position makes it a difficult job for the home owner and can often be neglected and forgotten about.
Their position, normally high up on the roof, Solar panels are extremely vulnerable to fouling. Air Bourne dirt, Bird droppings, Green Moss and Algae will all contribute to a dirty film that will reduce their effectiveness.
A regular, yearly clean will ensure they are performing efficiently. Leaving them dirty for longer will not only have a negative effect on their efficiency but will ultimately take longer and cost more to clean – a false economy all round.
